    We also also a range of after school clubs, including, but not limited to: Chess Club, Math Olympians, STEM Club, Battle of the Books, National Elementary Honor Society, Girls on the Run, Spanish Club, and the Amazing Shake team.

  • Clay Springs is a school of 600 students in grades PK-5. We offer gifted education, full day voluntary prekindergarten, varying exceptionalities preschool, and classrooms for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

  • In an effort to continuously develop our parent and community invovlement, we have Parent Engagement Liaison, Ms. Christine Muchow, our Parent Teacher Association, School Advisory Coucil, our Multilingual Parent Leadership Council, multiple Partners in Education, and our wonderful ADDitions Volunteers.

  • Clay Springs has been housed in three different schools during it's history. The previous school was built in 1991 as a temporary school. It closed in 2015 when the newest Clay Springs opened in its current location. The school yard has a sandhill with a gopher tortoise habitat. It also features a rock garden with rocks from around the world. We also have a 3,500 pound black bear out in front of our school. Midnight the Bear, our friendly mascot, watches over us every day!
